Results of the 1500 Open

Firstly, thanks to everyone who entered and made the weekend so successful. Without your support this competition would not have grown into the thriving event it now is. It was pleasing to see so many staying over for the two days and making it a very social occasion.

Our sponsors contributed greatly to the prize table and to the success of the event, and MANY MANY thanks go to

LEARNING PROCESSES LTD - WEBSITE

NORTH WEST CUSTOM PARTS - WEBSITE

WENTWORTH SPORTING SUPPLIES - WEBSITE

FOX FIREARMS - WEBSITE

PHOENIX FIREARMS - Tel: 07971 166642

We all thanked the Range Crew on the day but it is worth mentioning their hard work again. Also the guests to stepped in at the last minute and helped out – particularly “Team Smoothy”

The weather was good, as ordered, and over 250 bottles of water were given away.

I forgot to remind those at the Prize Giving that Mattersey RPC are holding the Jim Brown Memorial Steel Challenge Charity Shoot on the 12th July and an Entry Form
can be downloaded here.

The raffle for the bottle of whiskey was won by Andy Wiggins and it raised £82 that will go to the Bisley Clock Tower Restoration Fund
.

It appears that the format of the Prize Table remains popular, although it seems wine is now out of favour. Any suggestions on how the prizes can be improved are always welcome.

After winning the Small-bore aggregate for the stock given by North West Custom Parts, John Robinson very generously presented it to a delighted Teresa from LCBM. Is he getting soft as he ages? Well done John!
